Data Deletion
MAV has no accounts, and we don't store any of your data on our servers. Everything MAV keeps is on your phone, and you can delete it yourself at any time using the steps below.
Delete MAV's data from your phone
- If you use the Private Safe, open MAV and move any files you want to keep out of the Private Safe first. Files left in it will be permanently deleted.
- Open your phone's Settings.
- Go to Apps > MAV > Storage.
- Tap Clear storage (or Clear data), then confirm.
Uninstalling MAV also deletes all of its data from your phone.
What gets deleted
- playlists, favorites, recently played items and playback positions
- settings, such as equalizer, subtitle style and theme
- the media index, thumbnails and cached files
- Private Safe files and your PIN
What is not deleted
- your own videos and songs stored on the phone
- files MAV saved to your phone's shared storage, such as trimmed videos, ringtones, GIFs, extracted audio and files received through Fast Share. Delete these from your file manager or gallery if you don't want them.
Email you sent us
If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to info@appsgain.in from the same address and we'll delete it within 30 days.
